  21. Escom AG did buy the Commodore assets, including the C64.  But their 
  22. plans to manufacture the 64 for sale in EASTERN Europe and Asia have hit 
  23. the snag that their manufacturer in China told them it would take a year 
  24. to ramp up for anything.

  26. Right now, it seems that all Escom has done is license the 64 ROMcode to 
  27. Activision for their 64 Action Pack.
